The company’s engineers CathPro, recently participated in an intensive training about the application of CIPS (Close Interval Potential Survey) and DCVG (Direct Current Voltage Gradient) techniques, which are key technologies for the detection and control of corrosion in buried pipelines. The training, held in Santiago and Concón, included theoretical and practical sessions, using Mcmiller’s Volt-Tap equipment, a state-of-the-art tool that improves the accuracy of field measurements. The main objective of this training is optimize the maintenance operations of energy infrastructures, ensuring their protection against corrosion problems.
